Hotel Profile: Jade Mountain

Jade Mountain

Last month’s hotel profile took you somewhere cold. Now I’m profiling somewhere much warmer. Jade Mountain is on the island of St. Lucia right off the coast of Central America. Jade Mountain is the sister hotel of Anse Chastanet Resort. While Anse Chastanet is on the beach, Jade Mountain is up in the air. All that height means privacy, infinity pools, and an intimate setting while having access to its sister resort’s amenities.

Jade Mountain

Jade Mountain is a Trip Advisor Travelers’ Choice Winner for 2012 in Romance, Luxury, Relaxation & Spa and it’s a Top 25 Hotel in the Caribbean. Jade Mountain’s 24 rooms are more villas than hotel rooms. More than that, Jade Mountain stands out because the villas are missing their fourth wall. Instead you’ll find a pool or jacuzzi where you can view the Piti and Gros Piton mountains right from your room. There are additional sky rooms without the pools but still with a great view.

Jade Mountain

At Jade Mountain you have access to the amenities at the Anse Chastanet Resort down below. This means 600 acres of resort grounds, 12 miles of trails, 3 restaurants, and 2 bars. You can also access one of two sand beaches, Anse Chastanet or Anse Mamin. The entire resort attempts to stay unconnected so don’t expect televisions, radios, or phones in the room but you can keep busy by trying one of the many excursions. Daily rates start at $950 USD for the poolless rooms and $1250 USD for rooms with infinity pools. You can also add on an option to include breakfast and dinner with your stay.

Jade Mountain

Stay tuned tomorrow for more hotels with beautiful infinity pools.
