Disney’s Moderate Resort Pools

View First Post

Moderate Resorts

Moderate resort pools have some nicer pools than their value resort counterparts. There’s also usually a few more quiet pools at the resort and the main pool will usually have a water slide and hot tub available for use. The theming is usually a little heavier and more adult-friendly while still offering amenities for kids. Port Orleans has two parts (Riverside and French Quarter) and guests are allowed to share pools between these resorts.

Fort Wilderness

Fort Wilderness isn’t like the other moderate resorts. It offers cabins and campgrounds and sticks heavily to its camping and fort theme. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool has a waterslide and features items from Disney’s original water park, River Country. It also has a newly renovated pool with a hot tub and kids play area.
