Cirque du Soleil Dralion

I’m a huge fan of the Cirque du Soleil productions so I’m very excited to announce that they have yet another show touring North America this year. (You can check out our earlier coverage of the Michael Jackson: THE IMMORTAL tour in a separate post) The current tour is Dralion, a show based on Chinese acrobatics, the four elements, and balance in the universe.

The show mixes East and West with dragons and lions. You’ll also see blue for air, green for water, red for fire, and ochre for earth. The performances include twirling on bamboo poles, trampoline acrobatics, aerial hoops, aerial silks, and hoop diving. You’ll also see the choreographed dances and juggling that you may be familiar with from other performances, all with a Dralion spin on them. If you’re looking to buy tickets, sign up for Cirque Club, a great way to be notified if a tour expands to your city, presale tickets become available, or if the tour has special offers.
