King Tut heads to Minnesota

Did you know that in 5 days the King Tut exhibit will be heading to Minnesota? The exhibit, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, will be heading to the Science Museum of Minnesota and opening this Friday, February 18, 2011. The exhibit will run through September 5, 2011.

While the exhibit doesn’t include King Tut himself (he’s hanging out in Egypt right now), it does include remarkable artifacts and a world of history. I attended the exhibit in 2006 at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois. It was a great exhibit and as it winds up its tour of the country, you should make sure to stop in.
