Spring Training

Baseball’s Spring Training games start in just 46 days for the Cactus League and 47 days for the Grapefruit League. Tickets for most of these games are on-sale now or will be by the end of the month.

If you’re a big baseball fan, traveling to a Spring Training game can be a great way to plan a trip. Last year, I used the St. Louis Cardinals and their spring training schedule to plan my vacation. I wanted to see the Cardinals play and I wanted to see Disney World, but I didn’t want to drive all the way out to Jupiter. What was I to do? Well, I waited until the Cardinals came to play the Braves at Champion Stadium and scheduled my trip to coincide with their game. Sadly, rain interfered with most of my plans but it was a great idea to frame a trip around.
