TripAdvisor.com has gone through hundreds of customer reviews and determined the top 10 things to do in Vegas. While you’re in Vegas for New Year’s Eve or whenever you go, check out these top attractions:

10. Carrot Top

Love him or hate him, his comedy show at the Luxor Las Vegas draws in large crowds. Every day but Tuesday see him perform. Tip: Order online 30 days or more in advance to save 20% off his show and receive a free DVD. You can also reserve a Dinner and Show package.

9. Mystery Adventures

If you’ve watched one too many episodes of CSI and want to put your crime-solving skills to the test, look no further. Spend around 3 hours solving a crime and enjoying snacks. You’ll travel between locations, discover hidden rooms and crack passwords to solve your case. Tip: Go to the website to save $5 on the price of your adventure.

8. Little Chapel of the Flowers

If you want to get married in Vegas but want to avoid that cheesy feeling, Chapel of the Flowers provides an intimate, romantic alternative. From $195 to $3500 you can plan a wedding to fit your needs. Each package includes a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator. You can get married in a Victorian chapel, a gazebo, the bottom of a canyon or even a yacht. Tip: You can broadcast your wedding online for those who can’t make the trip.

7. Human Nature

Head to the Imperial Palace Theater to see the band Human Nature perform a Motown musical set designed by Smokey Robinson. The tour has been continued through 2012 for this popular band. Las Vegas Review Journal recently named this Australian band the best singers in Las Vegas. Tip: Splurge and spend the extra $10 for booth seating so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

6. Graceland Wedding Chapel

People love to come to Vegas to renew their vows and Graceland Wedding Chapel is one of the best places to do so. It’s the home of the original Elvis wedding and it can be your wedding destination too, with traditional or Elvis-themed ceremonies. Reserve your spot hereTip: This chapel is free-standing and separate from casinos so book a limo to take you there in style.

In a city where everything seems to cost all your winnings, enjoy a calm relaxing FREE show at the Bellagio. You’ll never have to wait more than 30 minutes to see a show here and you’ll hear music by the London Symphony Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, Elvis Presley and more. Tip: After you’ve viewed the show from the ground, try heading up Paris’s Eiffel Tower for a bird’s eye view of the fountains.

4. Jersey Boys

If you aren’t already familiar with the musical Jersey Boys, it tells the tale of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. You’ll hear classic songs performed including “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. If you stay at the Palazzo Las Vegas, ask about dinner and room packages. Tip: For the best view and value, look to book in the loge or back orchestra sections.

3. Grand Adventure Tours

This tour is the top Vegas-led Grand Canyon tour. If you travel here for New Year’s, you’ll experience the Winter Walking Tour. You’ll spend 3 hours at the grand canyon, take a detour to the Hoover Dam, enjoy a picnic lunch and watch a Grand Canyon sunset. Tip: Bring a book or some form of entertainment for the long drive to and from the Grand Canyon.

2. Hike This!

If you want to hike a little closer to Vegas, Hike This! offers hikes through Red Rock Canyon. You can hike with your group, even if you are the only person in your group you won’t be forced to hike with strangers.  This hike is currently booked through January 6th. Tip: This hiking company provides you with transportation, snacks, water, use of a pack and a hiking guide.

If you want to experience Red Rock Canyon but aren’t much of a hiker, Scoot City Tours offers up 3-wheel scooter cars to explore the canyon with. If you’re 21 or older you can drive the car yourself to experience 360-degree views of the canyon. Tip: This tour is closed for the season but try again March 1-November 30!
